We had a very comfortable stay in a spacious room. The shuttle to metro works quite well once you work out where to catch it near the station. Room service was excellent and the food was good.

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen
Good hotel. Staff were friendly. Laundry at hotel was great for us as we were in the middle of a long trip. Room is cleaned every other day but they left all the amenities at our door every non-cleaning day so that was nice.
