We loved our stay in this hotel, the staff were so friendly and approachable and the room had everything we needed for a few nights stay. We were thankful for the lockers at reception as they were great for our final day. Thank you for having us.

Room was fine, location was great. Cleaning was a bit so so. They didn’t charge the sheets once whilst we were there, didn’t restock room amenities like coffee or toilet roll a few times - my husband had to ask where to get it himself. The cleaner threw away food/snacks we had brought in which was annoying as we hadn’t even checked out. For the price we paid and considering we booked this for our honeymoon, we expected a lot better.

The hotel rooms are very clean. Just make sure you let them know if you want early checkin orcyou may have a problem. Your code is what lets you in the building.other than that, things are very close by. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very safe.

The room was very nice and clean, the room offered Netflix and YouTube (if you have accounts) which was a very nice feature and the water pressure in the shower was also very nice! Would stay there again! :)

Stayed here for one night when I visited NY for the US Open. Location is great; not a far walk from 9/11 Memorial, The Battery where you can take a boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty. Subway stops, drug stores, shopping, restaurants all very convenient. Hotel staff were all friendly & welcoming! Downstairs a bit dusty from construction. Room could have been more clean. Shower had a very visible hair ball sitting near drain & lids to coffee cups were covered in dust. I was not a fan of the shower design. The floor got very wet because there is only a glass wall covering half of the shower. I did not like the overhead showerhead at all. Something more adjustable would have worked better for me. Surprisingly, the room was very quiet, so peaceful & quiet that I slept in! I like the idea of this hotel. Codes were easy to use.

Best Birthday Trip Ever!

We had an excellent stay at Sonder Duane St. The neighborhood is quaint, quiet, and very accessible. There are many options for food, beverages, and shopping. I would highly recommend this place for your trip!

The online check in process was a little inconvenient because I needed to send a pic of my driver’s license which made me uncomfortable. The room was small but very clean. No on-site parking so I had to pay a lot to park in a nearby garage. Check out was quick and easy.

The bad was comfortable and the personal care products good. On the other side everything is too much automatic, check in takes a lot of time, the lights in the lobby are pretty ugly , the floor in the room pretty steaky. I paid more than 600usd for one night (no breakfast included). I would not recommend

Noisy and questionable cleaning

Excellent location and friendly staff but property does not live up to pictures at all. I stayed in room 206 right by the stairways which doors slam on a regular basis so earplugs were required to ensure a good nights sleep. Very noisy heating system also had to be turned off during the night. Note, I am not usually sensitive to sounds. Finally, on the second day I recognized something that looked like moldy substances sitting on the bedding and that only increased throughout the stay. Again, location is lovely and service super smooth so no critique on this part but I can attest this is not the cool hotel that the pictures try to depict as.
