Hotel is well managed and the staff will do their best to help you. Breakfast is def a plus they offered. It was a lovely stay! My room was in the fourth floor facing Lafayette St, The best choice!
Stayed for two nights and it was exactly what I needed. Close to the Subway and Chinatown. Room is small but it's NYC so it's to be excpected especially for the price. Staff was great. Only wish was that breakfast had more variety.
The room was nice and had a comfortable bed but the area is very loud outside. People screaming and lots of honking and sirens. The walls are very thin too could hear people walking in hallways and slamming doors.
It's a lot more "gritty" than I expected. This may just be NYC but my room was so small that one side of the bed was up against a window with an air conditioner in it and the side I got into the bed on was so close to the bathroom door that it needed a pocket door. When i'd get out of bed, I was standing in the bathroom.
The nightstand (if you'd call it that) was a wooden milk crate given 10 coats of glossy black paint screwed to the wall. My shower water pressure was so low it was like a baby bird spitting on my head. After a couple days I did mention it to the manager and he was very nice and came and replaced the shower head. Shower, better. Not great, but better.
It was okay, but it wasn't what I was expecting. If you're looking for a bare bones room to just crash your head at night, this would do the trick. I was on business for a week and it was just too cramped for me. Very nice staff, and very helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very cost-effective. It's a bit too loud in the rooms, and the rooms were ok. Bed could be a bit more comfortable but for the price and location it was very good.
The hotel is in a great location. It was easy to get around town and there were a lot of nearby good places to eat or have coffee. It was also in walking distance to the The Public Theater and the Astor Place Theater. We also appreciated having breakfast available at the hotel.
Room was nice, the wall heater worked well, bathroom was nice, toilet paper was cheap. Noise wasn’t too bad despite construction happening next door. Below average price but the room was truly very small.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, , friendly staff, and the location was perfect for what we came to do - shop & eat. The only downside was the amount of people who would try to approach you to sell you knock offs - canal street after all. The hotel does have signs that tell people not to stand by the doors.
Since you are in the city there is traffic noise, but the room has complementary earplugs in case you need it.
The stay was nice and on the edge of China Town. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Subway entrance just across the street. Bagels and coffee provided in the morning.
