Great location walkable distance from Times Square and 5th Avenue The room was nice and spacious Very friendly and helpful staff Minor inconveniences is that the room is not soundproof and the tv is not a smart tv Other than that we had a great stay!

3 out of the 5 outlets in the room didn’t work, the heat didn’t work as the room was 60° the whole time, the TV remote didn’t work, and if you want to call the desk and report these problems good luck because the phone doesn’t work. When staff was informed about these problems they simply wrote it down and went back to sleep at the desk as if I was interrupting their nap. ALSO $25 service fee charged at the door + $5 per bag to watch your bags. Absolutely ridiculous given the condition of the room. Will not be staying here again

It was not worth the money spent. The furniture is dusty and unkempt, there is dust and lint on the towels. The tile is cracked and old in the shower. There were chips in the ceiling and dark stains on the velvet furniture and floor. The bed sheets were dingy and stained with a brown mark. In the lobby, there was food on the floor it had not been swept. In addition, they charge $4 for water bottles and drinks.

The room was disgusting, the window was taped shut, the shower was gross, the shower had brown disgusting foam come out of it when the bath was turned, the tiles were all cracked on the bathroom wall, the towel rack was about to fall out of the wall, the carpet had a big hole warn out of it, had to go to the supply closet myself to get toilet paper and bath towels. Place is a joke!! Asked for a room change and they could not get me even that due to other guests already asking before me.

Let’s call a spade a spade. It’s a well priced hotel a few blocks from grand central and the general quality of stay matches the dollar amount. People writing scathing reviews would need to be paying at least triple to have all their specific needs met. The bathroom was newer / clean, The sheets appeared to be clean, and it didn’t smell too musty. Upon arrival, the receptionist took like 25 seconds to acknowledge my existence because she was deeply engrossed in a TikTok reel, but I’m not one to care about that stuff. My biggest complaint is that in 2025 (almost 2026) they still have carpet… but again, I know what I was paying for. If you’re on a budget but want a convenient location in the city, you could absolutely do worse.

The room was fine, although a little cold and sparse. The bug or le was the TV didn’t work (required opening a Samsung account and signing in) but the problem could have been a connectivity issue. A hotel employee came to look at it but was unable to fix. Said it needed their tech person to troubleshoot, but this person was gone and not coming back until after checkout the next day. Was unable to get local (or any) news, sports, movies, etc. This is a pretty basic item that needs to work in any hotel room.

the only thing saving this hotel is the location. my room was dirty and smelled overwhelmingly like sweat, the shower curtain was stained with big yellow splotches, and there was blood stains on the bathmat. when i checked in i already paid in full through expedia, and they made me pay a random $50 charge, saying it was “part of my payment” but was not informed until check in. they made me wait 15 minutes after 3pm check in because they struggled to find a clean room(?) when i got to the room it was freezing and didnt heat up properly until the next morning, it was below 30 out and the hotel lobby was the same temperature as outside. staff was rude. i didn’t see all the reviews until after i checked out, i guess compared to others i got lucky.
