The owner is always around and is a genuinely good man. You can tell he really cares about the hotel and the guests. Great value for the money, safe part of town of town, clean inside and out.

It’s a fine, affordable place in midtown - clean, convenient with helpful staff. The rooms are bare bones - only one pillow and very basic, but easy access to east side subways and walkable to many points of interest.

I LOVED this hotel, what a gem! Great location, clean, friendly staff, and I love the amenities - I would grab a latte from the in-house cafe, and then enjoy it on the gorgeous rooftop deck! I will always get a room with a private bathroom. The room was perfect, exactly what I needed. The price is unmatched and much appreciated. Whenever I come to New York, I will be booking with Pod51!

This is our 4th time staying in POD51 over the space of about 10 years. Its a lovely, quiet hotel at a reasonable price. Its clean and in a convenient location. Times Square is aprox 25 minute walk or 15ish minute sub ride. 10/15 minute walk to the Rock. We've always stayed in the bunk pods with shared bathroom. 4 bathrooms per floor with a super handy light system in the room to tell you which ones are free. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are great. We will be back.

The plus point about the property is its location. It is located in the heart of Manhattan, New York. Most s of the places including Times Square is at the wakable distance. The property should work on cleanliness.... There were spiders in my room during my stay at the hotel..
