Only complaint was parking. I believe they were at full capacity our first night and we had to park in front of their restaurant. Very clean (that's saying something from me 😊) The bed was comfortable and everything was in working order. Would definitely return.

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was a great home base while we explored local trails and Grandfather mountain. The employees are all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was the comfiest thing ever. Our stay was quiet, exactly what we needed and over all I would definitely return for another mountain adventure!

The room was great. I gave us a very clean and comfortable place to sleep. We could use a second chair for the table. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great. But the staff were ok and somewhat disorganized. And when we arrived back in the evening (about 8pm) there was no where to park and it was a very confusing scene. That made it feel a bit unsafe - not sure who all these cars belonged to!

The owners/proprietors/managers are the BEST ever. Friendly, hospitable, check-in super easy, rooms are clean, and honestly, we sat out by the fire and felt like we had been friends with them for an eternity. I have no doubt that we will return.

This is a small town, but this motel had furnishings like home. Very nice, clean, large bathroom and good shower. But I'm not a fan of window a/c units. And the shutters over the unit... while creating privacy also blocked the air. I would stay here again. Nice quiet town. Couple of good restaurants.
