"We have stayed in enough Best Western hotels in Europe now that we have joined their rewards program. Rather than being cookie cutter hotels, we have found many fascinating, unique historic properties. This was the actual mansion where my ancestors met with, and likely spent nights with le Marquis de Baume! Our room was spacious, and the front desk was quickly responsive when we thought a light fixture was broken. They cheerfully offered to move us, but we decided to stay to enjoy the nice bathtub. And then we accidentally discovered how to turn the light on. The front desk girl (sorry, forgot her name) was sweet and helpful. The dining and breakfast rooms were outstandingly beautiful historic spaces. It's the most beautiful staircase I've ever seen! The elevator and A/C were also greatly appreciated. The only drawback was parking. A common problem in European cities. My husband was told that the lot was just at the end of the street, but he said it was actually a mile away, so I don't know if he just missed the intended parking lot, so perhaps a little map to hand out would be helpful."

"This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers who want convenience and easy access to local attractions. Located directly across from the train station and close to downtown, it makes getting around the city very simple. Public transportation bus stops are right outside the station, and most major attractions are within a mile and easily walkable. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, although somewhat small. Large windows helped make the space feel bright and open. While the immediate area around the hotel felt a bit separated from the city center, crossing to the other side of the train station brings you to a beautiful entrance into the downtown area. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options within a 10- to 15-minute walk. Guests should be aware that the room layout is somewhat unconventional. The sink and mirror are located in the open area of the room rather than in an enclosed bathroom, and there are no electrical outlets near the mirror, which may be inconvenient for those using hair dryers, electric razors, or other grooming devices. The shower is also open to the room itself, although a privacy curtain can be closed along one side of the shower area. The toilet is located in a separate small room, but the door does not lock. This may not be an issue for solo travelers or couples, but groups and families may want to keep it in mind. Some areas of the hotel were undergoing construction during our stay, but it did not significantly impact"

"Check in staff was nice and friendly. Got me extra glass and bowl to the room. During check in they called me at 11:30 while checkout on Expedia was listed as 12. The location is perfect. Close to train station. Most sightseeing in walking distance. However a lot of noise from neighboring rooms especially when they close door or move chairs around in the tile."

"The staff was absolutely amazing throughout our stay! They provided a smooth check-in, including detailed information about nearby sites & restaurants…including a map in English! Pretty much everything is within easy walking distance. They had luggage storage for us so we could see some last things before our midday train departure…the train station was less than a 5 minute walk. We would love to stay here again."

"Le service était courtois et efficace. L’emplacement est parfait pour se déplacer en voiture dans les environs car l’hébergement n’est pas dans le centre-ville. Si vous avez une voiture de location il est très avantageux de louer un espace de stationnement intérieur à même la réservation. J’y retournerai avec plaisir."
