I find most hotels in this price range don't replace their mattresses often so there are well-formed concave dents from previous sleepers. "The room was filthy, they didn’t even try to make it look clean. The bed sheets were stained, there were holes in the sheets. We had to buy sanitizing wipes to wipe down everything including the floors. The area of the hotel has a bunch of suspicious looking people everywhere, it made you feel unsafe even in your room. The only good place about this location was that the front desk person was willing to give us another room after I complained that our first one was filthy, but the new room was...

"The Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach was the cleanest hotel we have every stayed in! The room was spacious and had all the needed amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and free, and the property was easy to find. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast provided by hotels, a mix of hot items, cereal, and baked goods."
