"Enjoyed the stay but it was noisy trying to get to sleep in the cottage room and I’m curious as to why there were only 9 loungers in the spa but there are 60 bedrooms ? I had to sit on a chair .. not really the spa experience I was looking for. Also another gripe of mine is no full length mirrors in bedrooms ? And no table near a mirror to sit and dry hair and do makeup ? It’s the little things that make all the difference."

"This is a beautiful hotel in all aspects! The breakfast was the nicest hotel I have had in a long while and I travel alot!! Perfectly situated for the coast, we visited Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and whitby; and for York and Harrogate. "Thoroughly enjoyed my stay of just over 2 weeks. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a lovely top floor single room an nice skylight window. The Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Grab and Go breakfast was a good option too. The Italian Restaurant was great and open for lunch and dinner. "The property was great we had a lovely big room comfy bed big screen to bathroom was really clean we looked out onto the courtyard which was really big and plenty of parking spaces. "All the staff we dealt with were polite,really helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The room we stayed in was really big, the beds were so comfy. Plenty of parking available. We paid the small amount extra to use the pool, steam room, sauna & jacuzzi, which we concidered good value for money. We also paid extra for the breakfast, which again was good value, with lots of choice.
