"Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. "

"The cottage was amazing, access gained easily when we arrived. The property was nice and clean and well presented. We travelled with 2yr old twins and 1 cot was provided and 2 high chairs which was brilliant for us as we were able to bring our own travel cot as well. Plenty of room for the four of us. information on shops and local amenities was good. "Clean hotel, comfy bed, it was a great stay for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and check-in process was very quick. The free use of facilities (gym & pool) was a bonus although do expect children’s classes going on as well. Hotel in good location as McDonald’s & KFC just a min away plus few othe shops. Overall, I’d recommend as good value gor money. "

"Checking was great, and the room was sufficient. However, when I went to use the shower in the morning, the bath had lots of debris, and gunk in it, presumably from the person who used it before. The carpet also hadn’t been cleaned, which put me off somewhat. The bedding did seem fresh, but I didn’t want to take a shower, or have a tea and coffee in the morning. The cleanliness really let this place down."

"Me and my husband stayed for 2 nights as we were going to York races for the day. It was perfect for us room was fabulous clean and modern and a great size. The self service check in was so easy and the self service breakfast was great. Limited free parking to the rear of the hotel was an added bonus. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again for the races next year 😊"
