"The hotel is just ok, the room is spacious, bathroom ok and fairly clean but the hotel itself smells of grease ( i assume from the restaurant) but the smell radiates into the rooms. They could do with strong air fresheners. The shower is big with good amenities but the bed sheets are awful and just get all tangled up, a proper duvet cover should be used it’s just lazy and makes the sleep unpleasant. The air conditioner sounds like a plane taking off, so you have to keep turning on and off to keep ok temp. Overall it’s ok, but wouldn’t return. "

"This is a a really nice hotel to stay if you want to be near Universal Studios. The place smells good when you walk in. Very clean and organized. The free bus to and from the park was great. The pool was very nice you can order drinks and food while there, super chill vibe. The restaurant was nice, food and service was good. Wish the breakfast was free like many do around Disneyland but I guess that cuts back on too many people at once. One thing i wasn't expecting was the $300 deposit per room so we had to pay 600 bucks even though the rooms were already payed in full. I expected a deposit just not so much. The Wi-Fi was not good, my cell service worked better without it. Other than that I’d say this was an excellent place to stay for a Hollywood trip and would definitely recommend! "

"The staff is amazing. The bed was so comfy.the coffee in the lobby was great. But , just so you know, there is no jacuzzi. Well, there was one, but it’s taped off and there’s a sign sign is going to be removed. Also, I had selected pay at property. Apparently this means pay day of. They charged me the morning I was supposed to check in"

"THE FINE PRINT: Don't bother with a "city view" room unless you're on a top floor, because all you will see is the ugly rooftops and other buildings. So don't pay extra for that unless it's guaranteed a top floor. Ride Share: Waymo is not allowed into the property, so you have to get picked up at a dangerous gas station next door. Lots of homeless, drug users and mentally ill people talking to themselves at the gas station next door. Doesnt feel safe going to buy drinks or snacks. You get harassed for change. Doesnt feel safe getting picked up or dropped off there. Resort Fee: this is one of those hotels that charges a resort fee, so be careful of that they do give you a $31 credit back. But the credit is not per day. It's for your whole day so you get charged for the resort fee daily. Tips: They already and automatically include a 20% service charge, so anything you tip on that is EXTRA. They don't really disclose that. They just put a stamp on the receipt. You have to ask for an itemized receipt to see that the charge was added. The front desk staff was weird. They saw us waiting in line and walked away mysteriously without saying I'll be back or acknowledging that we were there or saying someone will be right with you. Otherwise, I really liked the location. It was really handy to the LA Metro, which made getting around very easy."
