"Well portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent. "

"Lovely stay, so quiet, peaceful, ideal location to get to all the areas of interest. You really are out in nature in all its glory, with besutiful views. My lungs have never felt so clear! "It was a really nice older property. The staff were all lovely and helpful, they had suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The dining room, was roomy and had a great views. We had dinner there a couple of nights, although there wasn't a massive choice, we enjoyed what we ordered. The room was nice and clean, but a bit dated. It really is in a great location. Very easy for Anglesey."

"Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor. Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over. An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

" We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home.
