"What a beautiful stay, the staff went above and beyond, the room was beautiful, the ocean views stunning and the restaurants lovely. The only let down was room service, you never really got what you ordered on the menu. "

"Is based on busy intersection. I checked in on Saturday night. Very busy, lots of people noisey. Was right by lift. Clean room but lots of road noise and screaming from reverse bungy but is right in center of surfers so well placed. Pool looked grubby so didnt use. Staff were helpful and nice"

"The Darling is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. We had a wonderful experience here that began with the lovely lady at check in who was so nice, polite. friendly and extremely helpful. We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday and had booked a beautiful Stellar Suite for 2 nights. As we opened the door to our room, to our surprise, we realised that we had been upgraded to one of the amazing Penthouse suites!! "I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was average the variety of the basics it was convenient to have and go to our daily activities"

"Floor 21 tower B has a stink rubbish smell all the time, complaint to staff so many time but they send somebody spray perfume in the area and which only worked for 2 hours and again the same smell. Hopefully they will fix it permanently ."

"Beautiful room, immaculately tidy. Staff upon check in were super friendly and helpful. I can’t fault the Meriton as we’ve stayed at most of the locations and always 5 star service"

"Our room was not cleaned. When requested later in the day at 1pm, it was still not cleaned. A further request was made at 5.30pm and the bed was made but the rest of the room was not cleaned. No towels, bins full. After requesting a 4th time we were told that housekeeping finishes at 2.30pm."

"The female staff member that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming . She really went out of her way to help. The room was all we needed, bed was comfortable and shower good. It was great being connected to the Irish pub for good reasonably priced meals and drinks. It is close to the light rail stops and easy walk to the water. We would definitely stay here again."
