"The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well organised. I think the pizzas from the tavern are overpriced at £16 pounds for a ten inch! The night entertainment was super and our little boy loved it, as well as us. We liked how they had adult jokes that went over the kids heads so entertaining for all. The knight Vicky was very funny. All in all a very interesting stay and we intend on returning."
"We booked a two night stay as we had booked theatre tickets, the location was fantastic and having parking available, albeit for a price, was helpful.
All the staff were friendly and helpful although we were initially sent to the wrong bedroom at the end of a very long corridor which we then had to walk back with luggage…. We understand these things happen but not the ideal welcome.
Our room was comfortable & clean, unfortunately the upgrading of the air conditioning hadn’t reached it but there was a fan provided which helped.
My only real criticism would be the shower over the bath, which I had difficulty setting to a reasonable temperature and the water pressure was poor, a grab handle to facilitate climbing in and out would also have been helpful."
"Property is in a great location and close to Warwick castle. Unfortunately the room was very dirty with dust and cobwebs all around the room. Some items in the kitchen were dirty and had not been cleaned. Pool was warm and the facilities were good."
"Il problema principale è che la struttura ha i suoi anni e c’è un odore di stantii nei corridoi e nelle camere che non possono usufruire del ricambio dell’aria. Staff cortese e premuroso.
I pregi sono la amerà silenziosa e l’ubicazione permette di arrivare comodamente in centro a piedi. La qualità del ristorante è buona."
"The concierge was obviously bored and uninterested in guests. Check in was slow. The cooked breakfast items were not very good. The price of a cooked breakfast was very high. Room clean and tidy. Bath slippy. Definitely needed the bath mat"
"Large, spacious hotel, staff were friendly. Room wasn’t the quietest, could hear neighbouring rooms’ toilets flushing, hairdryers being used and doors banging. Did put a request on our booking that was ignored and were charged a ‘service charge’ without my permission on a food order I made at the bar on some light bites, so basically paid nearly £5 for someone to bring it from the kitchen!"
"We stayed for one night in a suite booked through Expedia and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations, particularly given the price paid.
We chose the suite because it was advertised as having a separate sitting area and complimentary WiFi. However, the room did not appear to have a genuinely separate seating area as described, and we were not provided with any WiFi information on arrival.
There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a broken and unstable table, an empty shower gel dispenser, an unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom, and a room telephone that did not work. We also attempted to contact room service at around 7pm and received no answer.
The sofa bed was particularly disappointing. Our child, who normally sleeps very well, struggled to sleep on it and we did not feel it was suitable for use as a child's bed.
The room was extremely hot on arrival, with the windows and curtains left open on one of the hottest days of the year. Despite putting the fans on immediately, it took a long time for the room to become comfortable.
The hotel itself felt tired and dated in several areas and would benefit from refurbishment and improved maintenance.
We were also disappointed by the breakfast arrangements. Information provided stated that weekday breakfast, including Mondays, was served from 7:00am. However, as it was a Bank Holiday Monday, breakfast did not start until 8:00am. This was not communicated to us at check in. Having bee"
