"For the price we paid, we were floored with the beauty and convenience. Easy to park with EV charging locations by the entrance to the garage (it is $25/night to park, you pay when you leave). It's a Level 2 ChargePoint, 5/hour maximum parking time.
The whole hotel smelled LOVELY on the inside. The lobby music was a bit loud. Difficult to hear receptionist. The king bed suite felt much bigger than the limited square footage it had. The view onto the Perch (rooftop of the 11th floor) and the skyline was awesome!
We got a cocktail from one of the bars at the Perch and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The World Cup was playing in the amphitheater. However, you weren't allowed to carry alcohol from the food truck area to the biergarten, which was a bummer. You were refined to a 25% section of the perch until you finished your beverage. The stereo speakers were a little muffled.
We had a quick bite at Wren, where the hostess didn't speak to us until we asked for a table, which was odd. Food there was fantastic!
Was underwhelmed with the absence of movie channel/app options in the room.
Breakfast the next morning, which was touted so much in reviews, was a tad underwhelming. DON'T GET ME WRONG! For a free hotel breakfast, this was AMAZING but with the extravagance, we thought there would be more. Some of the serving areas were empty and we wondered what was usually served there. No flavored creamer options and the coffee was cold.
Still! We will definitely come back here!"
