"Do not stay in the tower suite - they do not clean the room before you check in. Bugs in the bed, on the floor, up the walls. You have to keep the light off to stop the bugs swarming you. Hairs in the bed. Room is like a sauna and way too hot to sleep in, regardless of how many fans the hotel gave you. The shower handle also gets stuck so the water can run into the bedroom. Normal rooms are ok - better than a hot, dirty room with bugs."

"This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay."

"We booked about an hour before we were due to arrive and everything was excellent with our room. Considering the price the rooms are set up with anything you might need (even including a bottle opener!) We were welcomed by very helpful staff."

"Parking was limited but luckily got a space, a bit of a faff to sort but explained really well. Room needs some modifying, bathroom ceiling was quite bad, skirting board falling off in bathroom and the flush was hard. "

I wanted a stop over and found the hotel to be excellent value, clean, comfortable and just what I needed for a very affordable price. The room was adequate for my needs, basic but still very well structured with coffee/tea amenities, small shower area and a comfortable bed. "Love Mollies! I always stay here when visiting Bristol. The hotel is spotless, handy for coming off the M5, staff are friendly, the food in the diner is amazing and the in room amenities are second to none! Highly recommend it!"

"We stayed In a loft bed room of 4, 2 queen beds. The staff was super nice and professional. Very helpful with any questions. We had a no window room. The air conditioning and ventilation were working perfectly fine. 2 minor points was that the surfaces on the bedframe could have been cleaner. And the showerhead could do with a not so fancy looking one but more functionality"

"The hotel is not the olde worlde building shown on some sites, it is a modern motel style property with a Hungry Horse food area. There is very little within walking distance. It is very close to Bristol airport so on the flight path and has a busy road in front, so even though the garden is pleasant (furniture not brilliant) it is quite noisy. At the time we were there there was a construction site next door so that also added to the noise. Food is average but realistically priced."

"Perfect place to stay for Bristol trip. Stayed 2 nights and couldn’t fault it. The rooms were spotless, the bed was comfy, and the shower was hot with great pressure. Staff at reception were super friendly and gave us great local food tips. The location made it easy to walk the local retail park and train station in 12 min. Breakfast has everything you need to start the day. Special thanks to customer assistant for her support during checking in. Great value - will book again next time I visit...

"I have stayed here a number of times over the years and it has always been an excellent experience. Clean friendly and good breakfast.Parking is appreciated although it can be busy I have never failed to find a spot. Nice touch is having a decent number of tea bags in the room - so many places stint on this but not here. A small point but illustrates that the hotel thinks sensibly how to look after its guests."

"Really welcoming staff. There was a few for the car park which did not seem fair. It’s an overnight stop with a comfortable bed. Some issues with water pressure, taps going on and off."
