"My only complaint was I had asked in advance if I could check in early and was told I could and when I showed up they said I still could but it was going to be $20.00 to check in 15 minutes early… I had to, but it was a little ridiculous. Next time, you should inform the guests ahead of time."

"Room was very clean aside from the bathroom mirror, I had front desk give me a rag & cleaner so I could clean it myself because by the time I checked in at 3pm housekeeping was gone for the day. We had a over all great time. Little bummed the sauna was out of service & breakfast wasn't included but there is a restaurant with 20% off coupon from hotel to use. We chose to not ro use that & just brought our own breakfast, dinner & snacks!"

"The room was nice. One of the nicest hotel showers I’ve seen. The pool and hot tub were also great. We missed getting to breakfast but the coffee bar was nice. Fresh ground coffee from beans is a nice feature. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again."

"filthy, puke all over a garbage can in the pool area. been there for days. day three actually found a garbage can Thet wasn't full. breakfast area was a disaster, coffee, no cups, waffles, no forks, juice cups, no juice, garbage cans full of leftovers and waffle mix dried all over the place. "The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed."

"Recently refreshed property. Definitely get the "mom and pop" feel, in a good way. Rooms are not overly spacious, but very clean and functional. The heated outdoor pool was a plus and every staff member we ran into, ask how are stay was and if they could do anything. Short ride from the Elroy/Sparta trail and 10min walk to many food/drink choices. Will stay here again on our next trip to Sparta."

"I would not recommend this resort to families at all. We paid a good price to stay here and the water park which was set to open at 9am was still not open at 11. A visiting family told us that they had been there for 3 days and this has happened to them each day. The room was filthy!
