"The pool was beautiful, and central to all the rooms. We loved hearing the monkeys, cicadas and birds all day and night. We really felt like we were in the jungle, yet also bear all the action. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!"

"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "The property is breathtaking and very serene. There are so many great options in Nosara, however Esh is the perfect home base. Away from the beach hussle, but still very accessible. The complimentary yoga in the morning is a perfect to start the day. The restaurant is delicious and caters to all. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are so so comfortable. Esh is a very special place, I highly recommend it."
