"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. The pool is not on the property (you can get a voucher to a pool 300 meters away and that pool looks nothing like the pool in the pics representing this property)> So the property was nice and the service great and the staff very good but you will not get the place these pics represent. "This is an excellent hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and there is a nice homely atmosphere in general. The breakfast is very good. The pool (only open between 10 and 6) is beautiful. (Plus, Braga is a very nice city with lovely people.)"

"Beautiful property overall, but unfortunately the room needs some attention. The bathroom and the area under the kitchen sink had a strong mould smell, and there was visible black mould on the shower caulking and even around the bathroom towel hook. The shower also did not drain properly, which caused water to back up onto the bathroom floor. The host provided restaurant recommendations, which was appreciated, but unfortunately all of the places suggested were closed during our stay. Breakfast...

Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "
