"Our stay at Toyoko Inn Takasaki Station Nishi 2 was average, but there were a few disappointing aspects. Although we had clearly mentioned at the time of booking that we require a vegan breakfast, the hotel was unable to accommodate this request. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated in advance, as dietary requirements are important for many travelers. Additionally, the room was not cleaned to the standard we expected. While it was not extremely dirty, it did not feel properly maintained or thoroughly cleaned. Communication was also a challenge, as there was a lack of English proficiency among the staff. "This was my 3rd time staying here, great location a few min walk from the train and bus terminal, warm comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, it's a shame they changed the breakfast service, the curry and rice were excellent before... "Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. "
