"Great location, excellent front desk and housekeeping staff, but the room layout is very strange. The shower and sink area have no door, and therefore no privacy as you enter, take and exit shower. Plus, there's a mirror positioned at opposite wall so you can't miss shower entrance/exit from any part of the room. Also the entire hotel across the way can see into your room and you can see into theirs. Exhibitionist utopia!"

"The hotel is in dire need of renovation. The outside looks inviting but the inside beyond the breakfast area is rundown. The carpets were dingy, old and terribly soiled and needs to be replaced urgently. Privacy is an issue when you are not travelling alone. The wooden door to the bathroom was difficult to close. The closing and locking mechanism was not properly thought out as you pull on the lock to try to close the door but the lock comes out.
Breakfast is average. The staff is helpful....

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed one night (2 kids - 2 queens). Very comfy bed, generous checkout time at midday and flexible valet as we collected our car at 2:30pm after exploring Portland and heading onto our next pit stop. Very clean and had everything we needed. Had we stayed longer we’d have checked out the pool."
