"This lodge is a one-of-a-kind 'hidden gem'! Location is peaceful, scenic & close to town & to historic New Salem. The two-story lobby is awesomely rustic with historical artifacts and numerous mounted 'deer heads'. There is a nice restaurant/bar on-site. The 'standard room' we stayed in was comfortable. ..."

Locked up, cannot get in
"I arrived at the hotel about 7 pm. The hotel is locked, all the lights are off and no one answered the door or the phone. I have never experienced anything like tbis before. I demand a refund and an apology. Take the hotel conditions, etc. with a grain of salt. The form required all fields to be ..."
