"Very brief stay as travelled for the solstice but lovely property. Loved the history and little features. Nice garden also. Very peaceful and a lovely pub nearby thats walkable."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again "

"Stayed here before and liked it, so easy choice to book again. Good price, nice comfortable room, brilliant location . A couple of issues this time. There is no air conditioning in the room. We’re in the middle of a heatwave!!! Was really tough going!! The area around the skylight has some water damage and could do with a lick of paint"
