"Very nice small hotel. Clean and located close to the airport. There are restaurants located very close but it sits on a very busy road. There are no frills however we were comfortable for the night. The rate the hotel charges is less than the rate charged by Expedia. I found that odd. Overall nice stay. "

"This was a sex hotel!
Took 45 minutes to check in …totally incompetent.
Room had signs saying extra charge for dirty sheets and towels and vomit in the bed!
Towels were like coarse sandpaper. No shampoo in shower. Forget hair blower. Broken air conditioner and noise from street traffic. Wouldn’t let us leave until they checked our room.
Only good things…close to airport and hot shower.

"I like how convenient it was to walk to the Zocalo and they were friendly and helpful with our transportation back to the airport. Something they need to work on is on having a key so they can go clean the rooms without us having to turn them in and asking for them when coming back. "

The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here."
