"It was not a bad hotel and actually had the potential to be great, but unfortunately I got a horrible dark room on the first floor with a view of the bus station. The room looked very old and smelled strongly of dampness."

"Great location, nice people and efficient rooms. I would advise guests to ask for very clear instructions for removing the bollards that block entry and exit to the streets around the hotel."

"This is a total hideaway very different and not at all the mass corporate market. Individual and exclusive is how I would describe it. They advertise and have a lovely spa which is an extra cost. They don't have a restaurant but do provide a small plates menu. Personally I loved it and the staff were exceptional."

Rude, helpless guy at reception, first let me wait 10 mins as he was CHATTING to another guest without any eye contact or saying anything to me. Then he wanted a EUR 300 security deposit to my card, it did not work after searching 2 mins for the card machine. I gave him 300 in cash, he said "not acceptable". Then he tried another 5 mins to refund it via the non working card. My card worked before and after every time. I...

"Fantastic breakfast (those fresh croissants!) Location is a 10-minute walk to Arenes, a bit more to other Roman sights. Nothing fancy but more than did the job. Great staff. Would go back"
