"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "What a great hotel! Clean comfortable rooms in a lovely setting, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the welcoming, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The bar was cozy and featured amazing cocktails - the gin & tonic with "forest" syrup was my favorite (so much so that I bought a bottle of the syrup to bring home). Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and hope to visit again someday!"
