Khách sạn Okoroire , Tirau

"This is a heritage building so does not have a modern fit out. They have maintained the charm of the time of building without letting it look rundown. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent (especially the complimentary continental breakfast!)"

"Wonderful staff with exceptional hosts, thank you"

"The price was right, and the accommodation was close to town, however, not really easy walking distance, but a very short drive. We went to Hobbiton from the information center in Matamata by bus and found that very convenient. We ate it a little restaurant where there was a guitar player, entertaining in the front, and shared fish and chips, which were very good. The hotel was perfect for our needs. It was a bit small in the hotel for the first night that was when the key was in the door on...

"Front desk staff is friendly and efficient"

"Great stay - spacious unit, nice and peaceful with everything you would expect... 10/10"

"Spa is awesome. Proximity to food is good too"

"can use 1-2 more well placed light switches"

"Very clean and nice staff."

"Stunning Property. Beautiful location and gardens. Sue is an excellent host. Great breakfast and excellent coffee."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"All rooms are upstairs but there is an elevator. We found the young lady at the desk to be polite and she was very helpful. We had two rooms, one with ensuite. The only issue we had was the shower door would not shut correctly. Their were tv's in both rooms but air-con only in our ensuit room. Both rooms has a jug, tea, coffee ect and a our room had a small refrigerator. The main dining and kitchen area was really big, clean, with all you needed to cook meals ect. There was milk, coffee, tea ect...

"Easy check in, great location. Simple, but has all needed and definitely a good value."

"Clean nice spacious but I’d have to say quality accommodation is a bit of a stretch. Everything feels a little bit budget."

"Clean stay but not great for overseas travellers who need bedding provided. We had no idea that bedding wouldn’t be included and needed to “upgrade” to a smaller room with fewer beds but had blankets."

"Fantastic place to stay. The bed was a little hard for our liking but hey that’s the beauty and unknowns when staying else where. Super clean and convenient. Excellent hosts and great breakfast collection. We will def be back "
