Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins
8/10 Good
"It would be nice to have clearer indications of exactly what is being rented: where on the map of the campus, etc. I thought I had a hotel room in the main hotel when I actually had an isolated cabin."
"The location of the Hotel is excellent, just two minutes driving to West Yellowstone Entrance. The room is clean and spacious. The staffs are helpful. The small town of West Yellowstone is nice and have many acitivities, such as Hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations etc. "
"The location of the Hotel is excellent, directly by the Yellowstone lake and only three miles from West Thumb. The room is clean and spacious and has all the necessary features and setting, but no air condition. For guests stay in the second floor, it should be okay without air condition because one can open the window, but I do not know if this is safe to open the window due to wildlife when we stayed in the first floor.
Regarding the helps from staff, generally speaking, the staffs I met are helpful, but one who did checking-in for me is unprofessional. Not only did she assigned me to the wrong building, but she also assigned to the wroon room and I have put my luggages back to my car and drove two times back to the register office, which was really bother me."
"There was no frig or microwave in the room... It did have body wash and shampoo in bathroom that smell like a man and soap by the sink... no conditioner though... the ice was across the street in the office... it is a big place to stay so be specific on what you want... parking was crazy late at night... but a good place to rest... and easy access to the Yellowstone National Park.."
