"Hotel and room very clean. Not many other places around so ate in the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Good portions and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. One to visit in the future. "

"Check in was poor no staff around and had to call a number. Not very welcoming. Directed to room. Room was not very clean felt like sand all in the wooden floor and bed, parts fell off the shower. Bathroom was really tight and could hardly move in there. Bed comfy but bed frame rickity and could do with a good tighten up. Smell of cannabis on the top floor from other rooms. Curtains poor and hardly blocked out the light. Carpet on stairs needed a good hoover. No breakfast options. Could hear the room next door on the toilet and coughing very loudly like they were in our room, walls very thin. Check out wasn’t great a lady just took the key off us no how was your stay or goodbye. "

"Breakfast was well cooked but unfortunately I don’t like streaky bacon, seasoned tomato and large field mushrooms that are also seasoned. I think that should be left to the individual to decide at the table. Was very pet friendly . "

"Spa, room and staff all fantastic. We had a meal in the pub (Indian night) and was very disappointed, reminded me of a poor flavoured homemade meal, really not what i expected. Breakfast in the morning was great in every way. Would recommend, just not for the Indian. "
