"The first room that I paid for through Expedia and checked in was super hot they did not turn on the AC before we arrived so it was like 90°. We had three twin beds and one small AC. It was not acceptable so we asked if we can be moved. They moved us into a cottage which ended up costing 90 extra dollars for the night, but it had three small ACs And definitely was worth the upgrade for a better night sleep it was extremely hot and humid we was not able to get any of the amenities. "Our 4 day / 3 night anniversary stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort was extremely disappointing from start to finish. On our very first morning, we woke up to a flooded hotel room. Our clothes, luggage, and personal belongings were soaked. Instead of immediately helping resolve the issue, the staff gave us a hard time when we requested assistance getting our clothes and luggage dried. We were promised a new room right away, yet it took nearly 8 hours before we were finally moved....

"This is our second stay at this property and it is as beautiful as I remembered it. We were quite relaxed as soon as we checked in. We were in a studio with a Murphy bed but it wasn’t too bad as we were out most of the day. Our next door neighbors were quite noisy and we alerted the Front Desk and it was remedied quickly by putting up a sound barrier between the connecting doors. "A/C unit was almost touching side of bed. Room smelled moldy. Checkout time is at 10AM, which is too early. No option for late checkout was available."

"They were very accommodating. We needed a ground floor room because we were traveling with seniors with physical issues. Everything worked out great and having the full kitchen allowed us to work around some diet restrictions and save a little money. The hot tub jets didn't seem to be working but Everything else was great. Local shopping and the ocean is close."
