"Room given to us was handicapped room, shower was hand held and difficult to use, sprayed water over the shower curtain and onto bathroom floor. Breakfast buffet was supposed to run from 6 to 10:00 a.m. The cook didn’t show up until around 7:00, food was available around 7:20 making it hard to meet our morning schedule. Staff seemed indifferent to customers"

If the weather was bad it would have been very annoying. The other lot about a lock and a half- outdoors. Both are free for anyone to use- not just guests. Starbucks on site!"

"I appreciated that our lovely room had an outdoor veranda style seating area directly on the parking lot (which was very quiet & remote across from a country field). This allowed me to drove within a foot of the room entrance which was perfect for my handicapped mother who joined me since she can barely walk. Nice, relaxing stay! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. "A very disappointing Hampton Inn experience. Bathroom was in rough shape. Curtain rod and shower head ready to fall down. Lack of towel bars. We were with a large group and they had same issues. Breakfast was a challenge. The staff person handling the breakfast let many items run out, including coffee and napkins. She was unfriendly and hid in the kitchen to avoid guests. When I notified the staff, they pretty much told me that they should be and if they aren’t, well then sorry because there’s nothing they could do.
