I contacted the hotel immediately, but they shirked responsibility, saying they didn't know and told me to contact Expedia. Then the third-party said the hotel was the recipient of the payment, so I contacted the hotel, but their manager wasn't there. I tried contacting them again, but they all refused to help. "Very nice cabin within a couple of miles to Seward. Private, quiet and secluded . It was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin was very well maintained with newer furnishings. Would definitely stay there again when we tour out of Seward."

"Very clean, cozy room with surprisingly nice bath towels. Beautiful view of the harbor. Unfortunately, there was nothing stopping people from strolling by and peering into our windows and balcony door, even people standing around and sitting in the chairs for the room on the balcony."

"The place is an absolute dump. Do not stay here when in Seward. The building should be bulldozed and be rebuilt. Old decrepit and past its age. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"This hotel has been well used and it shows. Despite what is listed, there are multiple rooms on each floor which do not have air conditioning (Room 214 is one of the rooms which does not have an air conditioner). The manager said she would provide a partial credit, but no credit was given. If you have a car, there are better options just outside of Seward."

"Great historic hotel. Of the two rooms we booked, one room's shower was barely big enough to stand let alone take a decent shower! Anytime you ran the microwave in the common area, the breaker tripped and you had to wait for the staff to reset it. Overall, this is a great hotel near all the restaurants."
