"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. "Water pressure problems throughout our stay. Hit water coming through both cold and hot taps. We had no shower for the duration of our stay. Kitchen sink has no hot water so we had to wash the dishes with cold water. Boiler noisy and once it was on, the leak was coming through the ceiling. We had switched the boiler off on the last night of the stay due to the noise and the safety concern due to the extreme not water running from both hot and cold taps in the bathroom. "On the beach- it felt like people were walking on your front garden. Beautiful home and everything thought of- tea bags, coffee and wine included. Great communication throughout. Clean, washing machine and bleach etc all there. Loved it and it’s location. Parking a bit of a bother and luck (being in October!)"

"Close to everything! Easy walking distance from the train station, minutes from the town centre and beach. My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget getaway. We will come to stay again, thank you!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Clifton Hotel in Folkestone! Long scenic walks to the harbour, delicious dining at the Marco Pierre White Chophouse, and the truly exceptional restaurant staff—who also brightened our morning at breakfast—made the experience unforgettable. The ambient bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and a little Costa Coffee bar available. Every member of the hotel team was warm, polite, and welcoming. They made us feel so looked after. We’ll definitely be back!"

"A beautiful property with quaint gardens within the grounds. Room was for four of us, we had a double bed and a bunk. It was a small room but perfect for us. Bright, airy, and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was included and was a great selection of hot, fresh fruit, cereals with coffee and juices. Would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommended."
