"Great house, spotlessly clean and brilliant location for walking and access to pubs and local shops. Bathrooms were good, the downstairs shower is the most powerful shower I've ever been in!! The kitchen had all the basics you need. Only thing we missed was having a freezer (we had to be very brave and have our G&Ts without ice) Owner communication was great throughout our stay and sorted a problem with the heating really quickly. "Sub-Standard service from Expedia and Sykes Cottages. Our booking got cancelled as the cottage had ‘last minute maintenance’. The booking was for the 2-7th July 2025 and despite a huge amount of emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages - it’s now the 12th July and we have still not received a refund. "
