"A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access. The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. And one shower head did not work at all, but I'm sure it will be resolved. The living areas were clean. A true coffee table would be better to...

"Great for vacation if you’re not spending much time there. We were there to sleep and wind down. If need more supplies you need to call a number and probably would have to wait awhile, front desk staff is totally separate from the rental business. Only negative would be is that our flight got in pretty early, wanted to drop off our bags/luggage so we didn’t have to lug it around the city. They said we couldn’t do it, after checking in not sure why we couldn’t have just dropped our bags off."

"I stayed at the AKA White House for just one night, and since it's an apartment hotel, my room was huge, as large or larger than my own condominium. It was beautifully furnished with a full kitchen, a powder room, washer/dryer, and closed off bedroom with full bath/shower. I was hardly able to enjoy all the amenities in a single night's stay, but I was impressed and the space was very clean. "The actual unit is very nice and very clean! Lots of small appliances and kitchen utensils perfect for use. Everything was clean and organized. Some of the appliances didn't work however. The microwave wasn't working properly. Otherwise everything else i used worked as expected. Check in was a nightmare! The host was very rude and unhelpful. I had to rely on expedia's chat system with Hala Tysons to get my check in information. The website with the checkin information is so poorly developed...
