"This motel is a work in progress. Don’t be afraid of the outside older style of this motel. The motel is well run, clean, everything worked, inside is remodeled. I did find it a little unusual that I was asked to confirm my reservation three separate times — once shortly after booking a couple of months ago, again a few days before arrival, and again on the day of arrival. "Ocean view room was amazing. Boardwalk to the beach was such a great feature. Staff were very nice and helpful. Looks like some rooms have stoves but ours only came with one induction heater that was difficult to use (ultimately useful the last night). Apart from that amazing all the way"

"I have to say going in I was a tad worried about this place because it felt like its in middle of nowhere reading some of the descriptions. But this is probably the stay i liked most during my recent trip through North Cascades and Olympic national parks. The little apartment with separate rooms were clean, private and comfortable and well equipped. It was great to actually have Starbucks coffee pods available in the room instead of watery coffee often handed out in most hotels, But the best...
