"LOVED staying at this MIMARU in Kyoto! Location was great (about an 8 minute walk to the subway and right next to a family mart and even a grocery store 5 minute walk away). Front desk was very helpful and courteous, room was spacious and clean. We were traveling as a family of four with two boys, ages 10 and 13, and we have already recommended this hotel to friends entertaining the idea of a Japan vacation!"

"Excellent hotel for a family with kids. It’s gets a bit tight with a family of 5 and luggage’s but great hotel, excellent service and would book again. The only issue was the laundry room. Half the machines were not working properly and dryers took too long. I recommend the hotel replace all their machines."
