"Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style."

"My adult son and I just finished a motorcycle trip to OBX. We picked Dolphin Inn because we wanted an old school motel experience, with easy access, and beach front. All at a good value. Dolphin Inn was PERFECT. It's been recently refreshed, and the rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and QUIET. The staff was friendly and professional, and everything we needed was available.
