The hotel is very well located right in the center of the town (a bit challenging to drive to, if you have car!). And, breakfast was always great, with plenty of freshly made cappuccinos."

"A clean, very well equipped apartment on a lovely quiet little street. Looks like a very recent renovation of an historic building. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. The electric stopped working and a staff person was there to help within minutes. I would just advise that hotidays send instructions to Expedia at least 24 hrs ahead as not everyone has international calling or...

"La posizione è ottimale per visitare Ortigia. L'appartamento e spazioso e ben arredato ma occorre migliorare la pulizia dei pavimenti e trovare una soluzione per l'acqua corrente (pressione molto, troppo bassa). E' situato all'interno di un vecchio edificio."

"Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Es zwar nicht alles hundertprozent perfekt aber man erkennt die Mühe, die man sich macht. Es ist alles da was man braucht, sogar Kaffee und Kaffee (Mokka) Kocher war vorhanden. Dadurch dass man zuerst durch ein verschlossenes Portal und dann erst durch die Wohnungstüre muss fühlt man sich sehr sicher! Und die Stadt an sich ist meiner Meinung nach eine der sichereren Städte Italiens!!"

However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the Expedia website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text. After no reply for 3 more hours I then called and nobody...

"Die Treppe ist hoch (was ältere Menschen oder Menschen mit Mobilitätsproblemen beachten sollten). Im Hochsommer nicht zu empfehlen, da das Dachfenster keine Jalousie hat, um die Sonneneinstrahlung zu verhindern. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung für den Preis hervorragend."
