"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! "This was our third stay here and it didn't feel as good this time. Room was nice but would have benefited from a deep clean. Pool is great but jacuzzi was out of order and every time we collected a pool key card it didn't work and we had to traipse back to reception. Breakfast options are good, but things ran out and were slow to be replenished, only one coffee machine was working so a big queue, and our table wasn't cleared in the whole time we sat there. Location is helpful as there is parking...

"The building had lots of character, but it was a little bit dated! The room we had was clean and comfortable but rather hot. We opened the windows and took the duvet out of its cover in order to get to sleep. The breakfast was excellent."

"Staff were very polite & friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. For the breakfast buffet, a non pork meat option such as beef sausages or turkey rashers etc would be very ideal."
