"Easy checkin at desk. Staff was very welcoming, efficient. Easy to park garage. Very nice indoor pool in basement with hot tubs . We enjoyed swimming. Also had good breakfast buffet. "
"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome "
"Well what an absolute pleasure it was to stay here not only were we treated like friends I think myself and Alberto who with his wife own this beautiful house actually became just that friends. We were on our motorcycle tour of 6 weeks when I booked the nights stay here on our way from Lake Como to Ljubljana in Slovenia. "Great location for exploring Karst and other south eastern parts of Slovenia. Quiet & nice.
Expensive, but absolutely spectacular breakfast, totally worth it.
The only problem for us would be not very comfortable beds."
"Room was clean and larger than expected. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's not a far walk to the shops or the walking/bike path. If I'm in the area again I would definitely stay here again."
"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."
