"Staff were accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Pool was clean and chlorinated. Room was peaceful, with air conditioning, an outdoor shower, and a nice balcony. Staff arranged a sea turtle tour with a local guide (Gilberth), who was great. "
"Luis and Veronica have a very special place, and they are the nicest and most attentive hosts. They welcomed us warmly and told us about the local beaches and recommended local turtle guides, so we got to see some of the Olive Ridleys lay eggs! They even helped us with our special needs (laundry and when a flat tire)! The family tree house is such a unique structure, we loved staying in it. We saw many interesting animals right outside of our door from the porch. The rooms are super clean...
"We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling.
The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle.
Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. "
"The property is a short walk from the stunning beach, some of our favorite restaurants. This is a very new and exceptionally well-designed hotel. The rooms are fantastic, everything is brand new and visually pleasing. The pool area and cabanas are wonderful too. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They have a great consierge who booked a lot of activities for us - zip lining, ATV tour, surfing. Room maintenance and cleaning is superb. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up staying...

"Owner was amazing. I had a delayed flight and they checked up on me and even gave me a ride from a nearby hotel as I was having a hard time getting Uber rides within Pinilla. Internet was strong and I was able to work remotely without issues during my meetings. The room is comfy and the property is just excellent. "Staff and service at the Bodhi were amazing. So kind and helpful. The spa treatments were great, the yoga classes were so peaceful and the grounds were amazing - waterfalls and plants everywhere!
