"Overall, avid hotel in Zeeland was a good place to stay. My thoughts on aspects I normally find important:
1. Location - Good if your plan is to stay close to Holland without paying ridiculous prices. It’s also pretty close to Grand Haven, Saugatuck, and South Haven, and isn’t too far from Grand Rapids. It’s your standard hotel off the freeway.
2. Noise - You can hear just about every door close in the hallway. We also heard the folks in the room above us.
3. Breakfast - It was adequate but not amazing. Not terrible either.
4. Amenities - There is a pool and gym but we didn’t use them. The room amenities are minimal and most stuff is in the lobby. This includes the ice buckets and machine. They don’t even have lids for the ice buckets. That was the most ridiculous thing about the stay, which isn’t too bad I guess. There is coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7.
5. Staff - Everyone was wonderful.
6. Property condition - Standard and clean. No complaints.
7. Room - Clean and minimal. No carpeting which may be why you can hear guests above. I liked the shower (walk-in with no tub).
I would stay here again if I had a room on the top floor. This hotel is no frills and gets the job done. It’s the hotel that I saw in the immediate area."
