"Nice place to stay"

"The only thing good about the property was it's view. The rooms were terrible, the carpets smelled of pee. There were bugs, the sheets and towels didn't seem to be have clean properly. The utilities are old- flickering lights, shower head of below average height, no plug points, old tv, old fridge, no air-conditioning. Keys get jammed in doors. Would never recommend this place"

"Our family of 5 stayed in the one bedroom suite. It was a lot more spacious than I thought and the layout was very nice. This is our second time back this year and we are always very happy with the staff and amenities. The staff is prompt and helpful. The gym and just enough, the indoor pool is our favorite and the location is great. The breakfast is also very good and provides a lot of variety. Overall, its our favorite place to stay in Newport!"

"Before my bad review let me be clear. The personal was nice. Really helpful but I have a bad experience. The sofa bed had a disgusting big spot that forced me to sleep in about 2 ft to avoid getting contact with that. Even with a bed cover i tried to avoid it. Unfortunately the hotel was full so I can't get another room. The manager on duty said something about deductions but at the end I paid full. Couldn't said anything about breakfast because I didn't eat there."

"The front desk staff lacked customer service and seemed confused. After checking out, I realized I forgot an item in my room and went back to the desk. The agent saw me standing there but completely walked away, leaving me waiting for nearly 10 minutes until other staff finally stepped in to help. Also, the pictures online are misleading. The actual property looks pretty rundown in person."

"Nice large rooms in a convenient location with free shuttle to the casino! Includes a decent free breakfast (powdered eggs most likely) at a reasonable rate. Enjoyed my stay"

"I appreciate that it was pet friendly and pets stayed free. The place was so-so. The microwave worked for 30 seconds and then wouldn't work after that."

"Nothing was good. The restaurant was horrible. The Chef did not even know that Clam Linguini was supposed to come with Clam sauce ! Also, one person's plate was served with a roll with no butter and the other no roll and no butter. I have recently read in another comment journal that the hotel is failing and the restaurant as well. Wish I could have seen it before we wasted our money. "The hotel has severely gone down hill. Extremely hot and zero air conditioning. You could see the outside thru the top and bottom of the warped door. No pool or hot tub, they are possibly redoing it. The room never got cleaned. No breakfast. I will say the bed and pillows were comfortable at least. But overall, the hotel has gone down hill very badly. "This was a last minute booking, I was looking for a place with a hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised, the little condo was so cute, had a full kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. It had a view of the bay and the bridge and is located very close to the historic bay front. It was clean , very cute and one of the best hotels"

"The same breakfast daily"

"For starters, my floor was so filthy. I use the bath towel to go from the bathroom to the bedroom to the bathroom and into the bedroom and it was pretty brown when I got done after three days when you walked across the floor it sounded like your feet were sticking to it. I brought this to the desk attention two times they told me oh it’s the soap we use on the floor. The room had a foul smell, which eventually went away. "They text to see if we need anything, but when we asked them about the fireplace not working, no one responded. Also there’s no mentioned of free breakfast so I guess they don’t provide free breakfast. Otherwise everything seems to be ok."
