"We chose the Marriott based on it overall reputation and location as a family of 4 sharing a family room. Location was perfect and the majority of places we wanted to visit during were walkable which was ideal. We only had breakfast once and there was lots of choice for everyone, however we did think it was a little on the expensive side, so chose to eat out the rest of our break which did work out cheaper. Room was really spacious considering there was 4 of us - 2 children aged 11 and 17 and...

"Better than you would expect for an industrial hall turned hotel. Rooms are larger than average, but the shower and bath tub were great. Very reachable by foot and tram / bus. "

"This property was nice and near town and restaurants. There is not a lift so you will have to carry luggage up narrow stairs. The property was clean and had comfortable beds. We traveled with our adult daughter and finding a hotel room for 3 in Amsterdam was tricky Hotel Iron Horse was accommodating. "

Quiet and safe little neighbourhood despite being so close to a bustling part of the city. Safe is super friendly and helpful. My room (solo traveller) was EXTREMELY small - however immaculately clean and comfortable. If I ever came back to Amsterdam, I would absolutely stay here again. "
