"The floor in the room was sticky to walk on if walking in socks they werevery dirty after walking in the room. The room had a funky smell in it as well. I bought lysol and sprayed all over all surfaces and beds helped some. Have stayed here a few years ago and the hotel has seemed to go down hill."

"We enjoyed our stay! We were able to check in early and had a quick 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the a/c was working well! Even better, for someone who travels frequently with their spouse, there were 2 bath towels per guest! That rarely happens… we usually have to request extra towels! The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. There are great restaurants within a very easy walking distance. Overall we were very pleased! "

"I always worry about booking a place that isn't run by a Superhost, or a hotel. You never know what you walking into, and whether there is anyone who can help. We arrived at 6:30pm. Lots of day light left, so no issues finding the place, or getting in. The WiFi was down, and we needed a blanket. Called the support phone number at 7pm. The answering service took a message. At 9am the next day (after we'd left, and been on the road for an hour) we got a text asking if we still needed help....

"We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again! "

"I cant in good faith give 5 stars for a motel that is severely dated however...I will say this place is "clean" on the inside, the grounds need some love. (Theynare currently doing renovations snd I am excited to return to see the updates). This little gem is hands down the best little hole in the wall motel that is ON THE BEACH and allows fur babies. Check in was a breeze and I love how connected they are to their history. They have coffee cups for every year the motel has been open - since...
