The price and location were good. The pool was ok but the area around the pool was not - beer cans in the bushes and overflowing trash cans. The sheets were stained. We probably wont stay there again.

stayed here many times while my son was in law school. always had our pet with us as hotel is pet friendly. it was ok. traveling without our pet, we decided to stay here on our one night trip to Oxford. hotel really really needs updating and cleaning.

Staff was nice, parking was fine. Room was pretty gross. Rat pellets and dead bugs on the sheets under the comforter. Grout in shower was moldy. Room was musty and overall unpleasant. Price was low so I guess you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed a one-night stay at this motel. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were a little limp but there were several available to double. Bathroom was spacious and bath linens were clean. Complimentary continental breakfast offered several quick options.

The staff is all friendly. However, this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The floors were so dirty, they were slippery, the door to the bathroom wouldn't close, and the pillows and mattress have seen better days. We have stayed here off and on since our daughter was in college in Oxford, and this hotel has slowly declined. The location is great, but unfortunately, this was our last stay there.

The bedroom was fine, the floors and bathroom floors need to be cleaned they were dirty. But the bed was comfortable and it was quiet considering the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was just muffins and cereal and some drinks so we went to th restaurant across the street. The pool area was closed, I'm guessing it's seasonal. There is plenty to eat close by and the university was really close, so very convenient if that's what you are there for.

I give you one star because the staff was excellent. I give our room zero stars because: (1) when we arrived to our room, the door was wide open; (2) we had a double bed room, on one bed the sheets had not been changed, and the on the other bed pillows had no pillow cases on them; (3) the tv would not come on; (4) the bathroom had not been cleaned, or at least it didn’t look like it had been cleaned; (5) the two lights in the bed room area would not come on; (6) there were fairly large pieces of white plaster (I guess that’s what it was) on the floor by the toilet in the bathroom (I looked up to the ceiling and noticed there had apparently been a water leak from the floor above us. The leak had been repaired, but the ceiling had not been repaired. I called the front desk and the lady I dealt with was very kind, and made sure everything was repaired. I felt bad that I had to call the front desk so much because we didn’t discover all the things that were wrong with our room at the same time. I had to call the front desk 5 or 6 times, and had to use my cell phone to call them because the room phone wouldn’t work. But, as I said above, everything was eventually repaired (the room was cleaned, clean linens on the beds, bathroom cleaned [except the floors], new TV remote, and two new lamps). Solid Stay at an Older Hotel, but Breakfast Falls

I had a good stay at this older hotel. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, despite some signs of age. The bed was comfy, making for a pleasant experience overall. My only complaint was the continental breakfast, which was disappointing. It was advertised as a full spread, but all they had were bread, muffins, terrible coffee that tasted burnt, and a broken juice machine that didn’t work during my stay. Despite the breakfast letdown, the hotel was a solid choice for a comfortable stay. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 - decent, but the breakfast needs serious improvement.
