"I truly enjoyed the closeness of the beach and the views out of my window! The proximity of the pier, the amazing sunrises and sunsets! April in Newport Beach was perfect! I kept the windows open and enjoyed all of the sounds! I found the place easily and the parking! I’m so glad I ignored some of the other reviews but I can imagine that if you are there during high tourist season, it’s a much different story! Also, the jacuzzi tub was fabulous! "Very clean room, delicious breakfast, parking in the property. The staff was pleasant and friendly.Great location in Santa Monica, but you will still need a car."

"Katrina was amazing giving us a personal tour and walking us to our room. She showed us their amazing work with Monarch butterflies. The views around the property are amazing. Breakfast was delivered daily and was so good. My only complaint was I heard the neighbors upstairs and our sink was leaking a bit. I think it’s because it’s an older inn. But it’s quaint and beautiful."

"This was really just a regular hotel room in an old fashioned building. The breakfast was what you would expect in a hotel - nothing special. The carpets are a bit old and had that old hotel smell. The rooms were not very sound proof. It would be fine if your main reason was to be in Half Moon Bay, and you aren’t looking for a particularly special or pampered experience."
