"My second visit. Off road parking, a really nice place to stay. Clean & comfortable. Could be even better with soft lighting but overall safe quiet & comfortable. "

We use Paignton as our base of operations. We dedicate a couple of days to Paignton itself, take the steam train and have a day in Dartmouth, take the bus to Brixham for the day and usually visit the zoo. There are great walks all around.

Typical seaside town with lots of tacky shops for the tourists. Lots of dining options, lots for kids to do/play areas by the sea front. Still love the trains going through the centre and stopping the shoppers when they pass through.

Some wonderful places to eat, Henry's Bar for one and Local Thai were excellent. Local markets at the harbour. Cinema with 10 screens and a good choice of films. Plenty for children to do in the children's area.
