"The room was a good size and thoughtfully designed with plenty of cupboard space and a mini fridge. The bathroom was quite spacious, the shower included a hand shower and overhead rain shower. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were fabulous and made us feel welcome and valued. The hotel is on a quiet street, with about a 5 minute walk to the Republique and Oberkampf metro stations. "Our stay at Le Clark Hotel was wonderful! The hotel was in an excellent location (close by restaurants and shopping) and was exceptionally clean throughout our visit. Ellen, the front desk manager, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, and she truly helped make our experience in Paris even more enjoyable. You do have to turn your key into the front desk at every leave from the property and retrieve the key at every return but the staff is always available. The room is typical Paris size small but functional. Shower walls need to be cleaned from ceiling to floor but I made sure not to touch them. "My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Maison Proust last week and it was a great experience. The entire hotel including the rooms and the common areas were extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple though delicious and the coffee was great. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and the lobby area including the round library are designed with great taste.
